Job description

We are currently hiring an Electrical / Mechanical Technician to support the fabrication and assembly of industrial and municipal water treatment systems.
This is a hands-on position that combines electrical and mechanical work. While we are seeking candidates with an electrical background, applicants must be mechanically inclined and willing to perform a variety of tasks when electrical work is limited.
Schedule
  • 50 hours per week (Monday–Friday)
  • Overtime available most Saturdays
  • Majority of work performed in our warehouse
  • Limited field work required
Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and wire industrial water treatment systems (low & high voltage)
  • Install piping systems (flanged and grooved connections)
  • Install valves, pumps, instrumentation, and control panels
  • Fabricate and install rigid and PVC conduit
  • Pull wire/cable and perform terminations
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Assist with mechanical assembly and general fabrication
  • Support testing, troubleshooting, and system startup
Qualifications
  • Experience in industrial electrical work preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude required
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Experience with conduit bending, wiring, and terminations
  • Familiarity with pumps, valves, and industrial systems is a plus
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
Work Environment
  • Warehouse-based position (majority of work indoors)
  • Occasional field work depending on project needs
