Job Description

Crossroads Environmental, LLC is seeking experienced environmental professionals to join our growing team. We are looking for motivated individuals with experience in lead-based paint inspections and risk assessments, asbestos inspections, and other environmental consulting services.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, able to work independently, and committed to providing high-quality service to our clients.


Responsibilities

  • Perform lead-based paint inspections and risk assessments.
  • Conduct asbestos inspections for commercial, institutional, industrial, and residential properties.
  • Collect bulk, dust, soil, and air samples as required.
  • Prepare accurate field notes, reports, and documentation.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, contractors, and project managers.
  • Travel to project sites throughout South Carolina and neighboring states.
  • Follow all applicable EPA, OSHA, HUD, AHERA, and state regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • EPA and NC Certified Lead Inspector
  • EPA and NC Certified Lead Risk Assessor
  • South Carolina Licensed Asbestos Inspector (NC a plus)
  • Additional certifications (Project Designer, Management Planner, Air Monitor, Supervisor, etc.) are a plus.
  • Strong technical writing and computer skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in crawlspaces, attics, rooftops, and other construction environments.
