We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and reliability of manufacturing and production equipment within an industrial environment. This is a full time, on site, non-exempt hourly position with opportunities for overtime and extended shifts based on production demands.
Candidates must be comfortable working 12-hour shifts Monday through Friday as needed.
The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, hands on industrial maintenance experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on industrial machinery and production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC controlled systems
- Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime
- Perform PMs independently without direct supervision
- Maintain and repair conveyors, pumps, motors, furnaces, and related production equipment
- Troubleshoot forge furnaces and atmosphere heat treat furnaces preferred
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Install, test, and commission new equipment and machinery
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance accurately
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
- Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives
- Work collaboratively with production and operations teams to maintain efficient plant operations
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of industrial maintenance experience within manufacturing, production, or heavy industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery
- Ability to electrically and mechanically troubleshoot equipment efficiently
- Experience performing preventive maintenance programs on industrial equipment
- Experience with atmosphere or heat treat furnaces is highly preferred
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, hydraulic schematics, blueprints, and equipment specifications
- Proficiency using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and electrical testing equipment
- Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and OSHA standards
- Ability to lift heavy equipment, stand for extended periods, and work in industrial conditions
Preferred Experience
- PLC troubleshooting experience
- Experience with atmosphere furnaces or heat treat operations
- Manufacturing or heavy industrial maintenance background
