Maintenance TechnicianCreekside Center for Rehabilitation and Healing

Full-Time | Competitive Pay | Benefits Available

Creekside Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

We are looking for an individual with strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards within our rehabilitation and nursing facility.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility
  • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems
  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks and maintain maintenance logs
  • Ensure resident rooms, common areas, and facility grounds are properly maintained
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs
  • Assist with painting, carpentry, and basic mechanical repairs as needed
  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations and facility policies
  • Inspect equipment and systems regularly to identify potential issues
  • Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when necessary
  • Assist with snow removal, groundskeeping, and other seasonal maintenance duties
Qualifications
  • Previous maintenance experience in a healthcare, rehabilitation, nursing home, or commercial setting preferred
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance systems
  • Ability to operate maintenance equipment and tools safely
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
