Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Core & Agility Physical Therapy, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical condition, symptoms, and history.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions through clinical evaluation, and developing individualized treatment plans to address these concerns.
• Instructing patients in proper therapeutic exercise techniques to ensure safety and effectiveness during rehabilitation.
• Administering appropriate therapeutic modalities, including stimulation and massage, to promote healing and recovery.
• Assisting patients in the proper use of mobility equipment such as wheelchairs and walkers to enhance their independence.
• Maintaining meticulous patient records, tracking progress, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Offering guidance to patients and their families regarding home treatment options, specific exercises, and safe movement practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population consists of children and adults across a diverse array of diagnoses, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain, and neurological disorders. You will be engaging with a multifaceted demographic that requires an adaptive and tailored approach to physical therapy. Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficient computer skills, particularly in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and basic word processing.
• A flexible and agile work style, enabling you to adapt to the needs of patients and the team.

Preferred Experience

While no prior experience is mandated, a minimum of two years in outpatient physical therapy is highly preferred. Candidates with experience in various therapeutic modalities and techniques, especially those involving pediatrics or geriatrics, will find their skill sets exceptionally valuable in this role.
