Cooper Septic Service in Slidell, LA is actively seeking a full-time Entry Level Plumbing Assistant - Septic Systems Tech Assistant to perform duties related to septic system assessments, repairs, and service, including pump outs, pump operation, and discharge waste at an approved wastewater facility. You perform related manual labor such as probing, digging, lifting, loading/unloading, hose connection, backwashing/water jetting, and septic mixing. Additionally, you maintain inventory, collect payments, and accurately complete required paperwork. As Assistants demonstrate proficiency -- following training and experience -- progression to a Lead Technician position will be considered. Are you positive and hardworking? We offer this position up to $15/hour, depending on skills and experience. Plus we extend to our team bi-annual bonuses, overtime opportunities, 10 PTO days (80 hours), weekly pay, direct deposit, as well as employee performance reviews with pay advancement opportunities (at 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, and annually thereafter). ENTRY LEVEL PLUMBING ASSISTANT- SEPTIC SYSTEMS TECH ASSISTANT QUALIFICATIONS
- Able to work in all types of weather
- Willing to learn technical specifications for multiple brands of septic systems, wastewater treatment plants, and related components
- Valid Class E driver's license and good driving record (MVR)
- Have or are willing to quickly obtain a Class D (chauffeur) driver's license
- Willing to attend local training to obtain OSWW Certification (Installer, Maintainer, Pumper/Hauler, etc.)
