Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Line Cook position located in Wells, ME. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to order according to high-quality standards. Daily tasks include food preparation, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations, and collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service. You will play a critical role in upholding the restaurant’s commitment to delivering top-notch meals to our guests.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and knife skills
  • Understanding of kitchen safety, sanitation practices, and hygiene standards
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in teamwork, effective communication, and assisting in kitchen operations
  • Passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Prior experience in a professional kitchen is preferred but not required; on-the-job training can be provided
  • Food handler’s certification is a plus
