Construction Consulting

Part-time, $60-80/hour, you choose 10-40 hours/week.  1099-vendor status.  Suited for a semi-retired construction project manager, engineer or architect.  Flexible hours w/ some work remote.   Reviewing A/E plans, specs, submittals, shop drawings, contracts, etc. to determine the nature, extent, causes and responsibility for post-construction issues and/or construction defects on commercial structures.  Determine scope of work and estimate the cost of defect correction and repairs.  Must possess analytical skills and knowledge of: construction industry standards, contracts, estimating, common practices, commercial construction protocol.
