Job description

We specialize in the buildout of medical equipment (X-ray, CT, MRI) facilities and commercial tenant improvements. We are seeking a Construction Project Superintendent/Foreman to join our team! This position requires a close working relationship with the Project Manager and ownership/vendors for overall management of the project budget and schedule. The Superintendent/Foreman will also work be required to complete minor self-performed tasks as required to complete the project.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Project Manager to development a working progress schedule of completion with key milestones and within required contractual timeline.
  • Fill-out daily job reports with all required information and submit as required per job specifications.
  • Allocate resources for assigned projects
  • Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
  • Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
  • Schedule all inspections as required and work with subcontractors to verify/schedule inspections for their scopes of work.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
  • Complete labor tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working as Foreman/Superintendent on commercial tenant improvement and/or medical projects
  • Ability to perform various tasks including, but not limited to, carpentry, selective demolition, minor drywall repair, equipment anchoring and acoustical ceiling repairs.
  • Ability to manage 2 or more projects of variable complexity at one time
  • Computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project
  • Well-developed and strong leadership abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Medical project experience is preferred, but not required
