Componere Culinary & Events

We're looking for a skilled, dependable on-call cook to join our catering team for high-end events. You'll work alongside our BOH leads to execute elevated menus for weddings, private dinners, corporate galas, and more — bringing fine dining standards to every plate, no matter the scale.

What you'll do

• Prepare and execute event menus to fine dining standards, handling mise en place, plating, and service execution
• Collaborate with the BOH team and event leads in fast-paced, high-volume catering environments
• Arrive on time and ready to perform, often working early mornings, evenings, and weekends based on event schedules
• Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and quality standards throughout every event
• Assist with kitchen breakdown, equipment transport, and post-event cleanup as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of BOH catering experience, with a strong understanding of event kitchen workflows
• Demonstrated fine dining or upscale catering experience — precision plating and elevated cuisine are a must
• Strong knife skills and proficiency across cooking stations (sauté, grill, prep)
• Food handler's certification (or ability to obtain prior to first event)
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work varied event dates and locations
