Compliance Systems Manager II
Position Summary
Thatcher Company is seeking a Compliance Systems Manager II to manage and enhance our Compliance Management System. This role supports investigations, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), change management, compliance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will help ensure regulatory compliance, identify risks, analyze trends, and drive process improvements in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage complaint, incident, and deviation investigations from intake through closure.
• Conduct root cause analysis and support development of effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
• Administer change management processes, including risk assessments and approval workflows.
• Monitor compliance performance, analyze trends, and develop key metrics and reports.
• Maintain compliance system data integrity and audit-ready documentation.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, EHS&S, Quality, and other departments to support compliance initiatives.
• Support audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and risk-based decision-making.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Compliance, EHS&S, Chemistry, Quality, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8-10+ years of experience in compliance, quality systems, investigations, CAPA, or change management within a regulated industry.
• Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with compliance, quality, or management system software.
• Ability to analyze data, develop metrics, and communicate findings effectively.
• Strong organizational, collaboration, and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in chemical manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, or other regulated industries.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ISO, FDA, GMP, or similar regulatory frameworks.
• Professional certifications such as ASQ, ISO, or Six Sigma.
