Job description

Annual Salary: $63,913 - $68,590
The Assignment
As a full-time Paramedic, you make a difference by delivering advanced pre-hospital Medical care that supports our mission and community impact across Rutherford County. This Government Ambulance Service role exists to provide rapid, skilled intervention from scene to hospital.
Key responsibilities include responding to 911 calls, performing patient assessment and charting, providing advanced life support (including extrication and life-rescue care), transporting patients safely, maintaining unit readiness, and operating/maintaining assigned equipment.
Required qualifications/skills:
- Tennessee-licensed Paramedic (EMT-P)
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS
- Knowledge of Rapid Sequence Intubation and Cricothyrotomy
- Experience with patient extrication and ALS in the field
- Skilled with Lucas Device, Hamilton Ventilators, Video Laryngoscopes, Stryker Auto-Load Stretchers, Sapphire IV Pumps, Lifepak 35 Cardiac Monitors
- Strong teamwork, communication, critical decision-making, and ambulance driving
