We are looking for an experienced Physical Therapy Assistant(PTA) for our 52-bed Skilled Nursing Community. The PTA will also, assist with outpatient rehab for our Assisted Living and Independent Living Residents
Job Summary
To provide physical therapy services as assigned under the direction and supervision of the PhysicalTherapist in accordance with policies and procedures and in compliance withstate and federal regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provide physical therapy services as assigned under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist.
2. Compliance with federal and stateregulations, professional guidelines and code of ethics for the profession ofphysical therapy and provision of physical therapy services.
3. Compliance with EHSI and PSRS policies and procedures.
4. Attend meeting and in-services as needed as directed by FRC.
5. Complies with laws and regulations applicable to position and act in accordance with Corporate Compliance Program.

Qualifications:
1. Ability to interact and communicate with various levels of staff in the organization.
2. Able to communicate, direct, motivate and build team relations.
3. Sound clinical judgment relating to the provision of Rehabilitation services.
4. Collaboration with member of the interdisciplinary team in delivery of patient care to maximize functional outcomes.
5. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs, as well as the ability to push, pull, and twist.
Required Education/Experience Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited therapy program

Licenses / Certifications:
  • State of Florida credentialing /licensure as required
