Clinical Neuroscience

Established two-physician neurology clinic seeking a reliable Medical Assistant / Medical Office Support team member. This is an entry-level role within a clinical setting, requiring prior exposure to a medical office or formal MA training. The position combines patient care and front office responsibilities in a fast-paced outpatient environment.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs
• Perform medication reconciliation
• Enter and update patient information in EHR (Athena experience preferred)
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation
• Assist with patient intake and clinic flow
• Answer phones and communicate clearly with patients
• Cross-cover front desk responsibilities, including check-in and copay collection

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in a medical office OR completion of a Medical Assistant training program
• Working knowledge of electronic health records (EHR)
• Ability to document accurately and efficiently during patient visits
• Professional communication skills with patients and staff
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred

• Experience with Athena EHR
• Prior outpatient or specialty clinic experience
• Comfort with both clinical and administrative tasks
