Job description

Citizens' Climate Lobby (CCL) is a nonpartisan climate organization with more than 350 grassroots chapters nationwide — including in your city!

Volunteer with your local chapter of CCL to work with your community and your members of Congress to advance climate change legislation.

When you join, we provide all the training and tools you need to be an effective volunteer.

Your activities might include:

  • Contacting your members of Congress through in-person meetings, calls and emails to encourage them to support climate legislation.
  • Talking to your community about climate solutions at local events like festivals or farmers markets or through the local media.
  • Attending monthly meetings with other local CCL volunteers to plan all of the above activities, and more!

Want to know more?

Attend our CCL Informational Session, offered live every Wednesday, to learn more and ask questions.

You can also follow CCL on Instagram, Facebook, or your favorite social media platform to get to know us better and see action opportunities.
