Job description

Licensed Pharmacist – Hybrid Schedule | Long-Term Care Pharmacy

Now Hiring: Licensed Pharmacists for Flexible Hybrid Schedules

Are you a passionate, detail-oriented pharmacist looking for a rewarding career with work-life balance? Join a growing Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy team dedicated to providing exceptional pharmaceutical care to long-term care facilities and assisted living communities while offering flexible hybrid work arrangements.


Available Hybrid Schedule Options

Option 1: 4-Day Workweek (4 x 10-Hour Shifts)

  • 4 ten-hour shifts per week
  • 2 days working remotely from home
  • 2 days working onsite at the pharmacy
  • Available on 1st or 2nd shift
  • Rotating hybrid days based on operational needs


Option 2: Monday–Friday + Rotating Weekend Coverage

  • Monday through Friday schedule
  • 3 days onsite and 2 days remote each week
  • Hybrid workdays rotate regularly
  • Every other weekend required
  • Flexible 1st or 2nd shift opportunities available


Pharmacist Responsibilities

  • Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness, dosage accuracy, potential interactions, and proper administration.
  • Verify that medications are accurately dispensed, packaged, and labeled.
  • Communicate with nursing staff, physicians, and healthcare providers regarding medication-related questions and concerns.
  • Supervise prescription preparation and dispensing activities.
  • Recommend therapy modifications when clinically appropriate.
  • Investigate and resolve medication-related inquiries.
  • Maintain and update patient medication profiles, clinical records, laboratory information, and medical histories.
  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and company pharmacy regulations.
  • Support quality assurance and patient safety initiatives.


Qualifications

  • Active Pharmacist License with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy required.
  • Previous Long-Term Care pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, clinical, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
  • Computer proficiency required; FrameworkLTC experience is a plus.
  • Ability to perform light lifting as needed.
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
