Locations: 2535 SW Military Dr & 7046 W Military Dr, San Antonio, TX

Employment: Full-Time | AM/PM Shifts (6–7 hours)

Pay: $12.00–$14.00 / hour

Position Overview

China Rose is hiring dependable Line Cooks to operate the deep fryer station and ensure fast, safe, consistent food preparation. Wok experience is NOT required—we offer training and growth opportunities for motivated team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Prep & Station Ops: Maintain, stock, and clean the fryer station; handle prep work for peak periods.
• Cooking & Quality: Prepare items to recipe, portion, and timing standards; read order ticket screens accurately.
• Safety & Sanitation: Maintain correct oil/food temperatures; handle, label, and rotate food safely; follow opening/closing procedures.
• Teamwork: Coordinate with kitchen staff, cross-assist when needed, and report equipment/safety issues immediately.

Qualifications

• Required: Some front-kitchen/line experience, fast-paced work capacity, ability to read order screens (with eyewear if needed), safe operation around hot oil, strong punctuality, and coachability.
• Preferred: Chinese/Asian restaurant or deep-fryer experience.
