Child amp; Adolescent Psychiatrist | Full Time | Inpatient | On-site
Position Overview:
We are seeking a full time Child amp; Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our inpatient hospital team in Wichita, Kansas. This full time, onsite role involves providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management for patients aged 5โ€“17. The position offers a supportive environment with a manageable caseload and no weekend or holiday requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for a caseload of approximately 16 patients per day.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nursing staff and a Medical Staff Coordinator, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
  • Manage caseload of 16 patients/day
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Monday through Friday.
  • No on-call duties, weekends, or holidays required.
Qualifications:
  • Psychiatrist with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Child amp; Adolescent Psychiatry.
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in the State of Kansas or the ability to obtain one.
  • Active DEA registration in Kansas or eligibility to obtain.
  • Strong clinical skills with a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
