Chick’n Out — Front of House Leadership
Role Summary
The FOH Shift Lead supports daily operations by running smooth, consistent shifts, coaching the team, and protecting the guest experience. This role is the first layer of leadership on the floor and ensures all FOH standards, SOPs, and service expectations are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead FOH shifts with clear communication and strong situational awareness
- Run pre‑shift huddles and assign roles based on staffing and volume
- Maintain a clean, stocked, organized FOH throughout the shift
- Deliver consistent hospitality and resolve guest issues professionally
- Support counter service, expo, and dining room flow during peak hours
- Complete FOH checklists, line checks, and cleanliness standards
- Monitor ticket times and coordinate with BOH for smooth service
- Enforce uniform, hygiene, and safety standards
- Provide real‑time coaching and support for FOH team members
- Document shift issues and communicate updates to leadership
Shift Coverage Expectation
- FOH Shift Leads are the first point of contact for FOH call‑outs
- Attempt to find coverage before escalating
- Cover the shift themselves when no other coverage is available
- Communicate call‑outs and coverage outcomes to leadership

Requirements
- Full‑time availability (35–40 hours/week)
- Weekend and peak‑day availability
- Prior FOH or leadership experience preferred
