Job description


Cervello-Wellness is seeking a compassionate, experienced Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our growing behavioral health practice in Virginia. We are looking for a therapist who is clinically strong, dependable, collaborative, and genuinely committed to providing thoughtful, patient-centered care. 
Our practice provides comprehensive outpatient behavioral health services in a supportive, team-oriented environment. The LPC will work alongside psychiatric providers, therapists, and administrative staff to provide high-quality psychotherapy to adolescents and/or adults. 
Responsibilities 
  •  Provide individual psychotherapy to assigned patients 
  •  Complete comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans 
  •  Provide evidence-based therapy based on each patient's needs 
  •  Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation 
  •  Assess and appropriately respond to safety concerns, including suicidal ideation and other behavioral health crises 
  •  Coordinate care with psychiatric providers and other members of the treatment team 
  •  Participate in case consultation and clinical collaboration when appropriate 
  •  Maintain professional boundaries and patient confidentiality 
  •  Meet established standards for attendance, documentation, communication, and quality of care 
  •  Support continuity of care through appropriate follow-up and treatment planning 

Qualifications
 
  • Active Virginia LPC license required
  •  Master's degree in Counseling or a related behavioral health field 
  •  Experience providing outpatient psychotherapy preferred 
  •  Strong clinical assessment and treatment-planning skills 
  •  Experience treating conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, mood disorders, relationship concerns, and life transitions 
  •  Comfortable working with diverse patient populations 
  •  Strong documentation and communication skills 
  •  Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team 
  •  Reliable, professional, compassionate, and patient-focused 
  •  Experience with electronic health records and telehealth preferred
