Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Accounting Administrative Assistant to support our accounting and administrative functions.  This part-time role is ideal for someone looking for consistent, flexible daytime schedule, while contributing to a fast-paced and growing organization.
This position focuses on data entry, filing, and general accounting and administrative support, playing a key role in keeping our financial records accurate and organized.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily accounting data entry with a high level of accuracy.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing. 
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems. 
  • Enter and update customer, vendor, and job information in accounting systems. 
  • Support invoice processing, matching, and documentation. 
  • Assist with basic reconciliations and report preparation.
  • Help maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Provide general administrative support to the team as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative support preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage routine, repetitive tasks efficiently.
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software (experience with systems like Foundation or similar is a plus).
  • Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • High level of discretion when handling sensitive information.
