Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to identify clients' mental health needs, crafting tailored treatment plans based on these evaluations.
• Develop and revise individualized treatment plans to effectively address unique challenges faced by each client, implementing evidence-based therapy techniques.
• Lead therapeutic sessions, both individually and in group formats, utilizing established methodologies to facilitate client understanding and engagement.
• Collaborate actively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, ensuring an integrated approach to client care that captures all dimensions of mental health support.
• Educate and involve clients' families in the treatment process, promoting a holistic understanding and active participation in recovery.
• Maintain precise and confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and ethical standards to uphold the integrity of the therapeutic relationship.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Center Light, you will serve a diverse clientele comprising individuals from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, each with unique mental health challenges. Our patients include adolescents and adults dealing with conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and more.

Qualifications

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling is essential.
• Documented training or substantial experience in evidence-based counseling practices is highly desirable.
• Strong therapeutic skills with the ability to establish trusting relationships with clients are crucial for effective treatment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential for teamwork within the clinical environment.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $104,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
