Job Summary:

HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is currently seeking a BE/BC Anesthesiologist to join the leadership team at Catholic Medical Center (CMC) in Manchester, NH. This is a Chief/Facility Medical Director (FMD) position that will work collaboratively with Anesthesia Services and facility leadership. Mutual respect, collaboration and a genuine love of providing excellent patient care are at the core of the Anesthesia department.

Ideal candidate will be highly skilled in communication, relationship building, and be able to represent the Anesthesia department as a true, collaborative partner within the organization. Responsibilities include assuring the highest standards of healthcare delivery and outcomes and maintaining an environment that supports employee satisfaction and retention. Previous leadership experience desired but not required.

Qualifications/Highlights of Opportunity:

  • MD or DO licensure from an accredited institution and ABA board eligibility/certification required.
  • Must be able to obtain an unrestricted medical license and DEA from the state of New Hampshire prior to employment.
  • Anesthesia Care Team model of 5 Anesthesiologists and 15 CRNA’s.
  • Call is balanced at one beeper night/week and one beeper weekend/month. Calls picked up beyond contracted hours garner additional compensation.
  • One facility with 17 sites of service including 2 cardiovascular ORs. Annual surgical volume – 13,300 cases.
  • Diverse mix of cases including Trauma (Level III), Vascular, Thoracic, OB, General, Orthopedics, Urology, GYN, and GI (no Peds or ENT).
