Pokémon Live Stream Host (WhatNot)

Position Overview

We are seeking an energetic, knowledgeable, and engaging Pokémon Live Stream Host to represent our brand through live sales on Whatnot. The ideal candidate is passionate about the Pokémon Trading Card Game, comfortable on camera, and skilled at creating an entertaining shopping experience while driving sales.

Please attach a cover letter, voice memo, or additional information regarding your level of expertise with Pokemon cards. Included singles knowledge, graded card knowledge, and sealed knowledge. 

As the face of our live streams, you will host pack breaks, rip-and-ship events, single card auctions, and graded card (slab) sales while building a loyal community of collectors. We will be trained by and co-stream with some of the best in the game!

Responsibilities

• Host live Pokémon card streams on Whatnot in a professional and entertaining manner.
• Conduct live pack openings ("Rip & Ship" or "Character Breaks") while maintaining excitement and transparency.
• Sell raw singles, sealed products, and graded cards (PSA, BGS, CGC, etc.).
• Interact with viewers by answering questions, acknowledging customers, and fostering an engaging community.
• Keep streams organized, energetic, and compliant with platform policies.
• Assist with organizing inventory before and after live streams.
• Stay informed on current Pokémon TCG releases, market trends, and popular chase cards.
• Represent the company professionally and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the Pokémon Trading Card Game and collecting community.
• Comfortable speaking live on camera for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• High energy, outgoing personality, and confidence engaging with large audiences.
• Ability to multitask while monitoring chat, auctions, and inventory.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Previous live streaming, sales, or customer-facing experience is preferred.
• Experience with Whatnot or other live-selling platforms is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Pokémon card values and market trends.
• Experience handling high-value collectibles.
• Knowledge of PSA, BGS, CGC, and other grading companies.
• Basic understanding of live-stream production and camera equipment.
• Social media experience to help promote upcoming streams is a bonus.

Schedule

• Flexible scheduling for the first hires as we are starting a second account. Graveyard available on the main channel.
