Position Overview

Cardio Focus Health Center is currently seeking a dedicated and licensed Physician Assistant to join our team in a full-time capacity. Work Environment

This position will be conducted onsite at our Surgical Center, where you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. You will encounter a fast-paced atmosphere that requires adaptability and a proactive approach to patient care. Our facility is equipped with the latest healthcare technology, including telehealth platforms that enable you to conduct remote consultations, thereby expanding access to essential care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations for patients with personal injury claims, ensuring accurate assessments are made for appropriate treatment plans.
• Prescribe necessary medications, including NSAIDs, muscle relaxers, and medicated patches, based on patient evaluations and established guidelines.
• Order imaging studies such as MRIs to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Utilize telehealth technology for virtual patient consultations, ensuring continuity of care even outside conventional office hours.
• Provide referrals to physical therapy and specialist services, particularly in Pain Management, to create a well-rounded treatment strategy for patients.
• Maintain comprehensive medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in patient documentation.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver holistic and effective patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Cardio Focus Health Center, our patient population primarily includes individuals experiencing chronic pain and personal injuries. Qualifications

• A current and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the state of New York.
• A Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant by a nationally recognized certifying body.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and medical documentation processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both patients and healthcare team members.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in pain management or a relevant healthcare setting is preferred.
• Previous experience in a surgical or outpatient clinic environment will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 150,000 to 180,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
