Are you looking to build a career in the Oil & Gas industry? We have an opportunity for you to join our industry-leading Joint Venture Accounting team where you will apply your analytical problem solving and well-developed communication skills while developing your knowledge of Oil & Gas operations. You will provide prompt, complete, relevant and accurate accounting information on the Company's operated and non-operated properties. Your ability to work towards resolution with multiple stakeholders will contribute to your success in this role.

• Shift schedule: 5 x 2, 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday

Key Accountabilities:

• Analyze and record non-operated joint interest billings (JIBs), ensuring accuracy and completeness of revenue, royalties, capital, and operating costs within the terms of the governing agreements 
• Investigate and resolve queries/disputes on operated JIBs to collect receivables in a timely manner 
• Monitor payment terms and payment patterns (KPIs)
• Provide analysis and commentary for monthly management reports including communicating receivable collection action plans
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Joint Venture partners and other departments to achieve departmental and company goals and objectives 

What You Bring to the Role:

• Diploma in Accounting or bachelor's degree 
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong demonstrated Excel skills
