Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator

We are currently hiring for a Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator with a focus on components within manufacturing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·      Accountable for the Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature, and Sustainability of suppliers

·      Issuing all Vendor Purchase Orders - high volume

·      Track and manage all delivery dates to various facility and vendor locations on a daily basis

·      Issue all internal company to company Purchase Orders

·      Manage all internal inventory via set mins and maxes, and issue Purchase Orders to replenish

·      Requires general familiarity with material purchasing, e.g. buy out materials for distribution purchasing (steel experience a bonus)

·      Handle Procurement of all products

·      Manage logistics of all products, accounting for multiple locations – internal and outside vendors, including the coordination and timing of all materials

·      Responsible for making sure that the segment business plan is implemented through the selection of the right suppliers, and by continuously securing supplier performance

·      Develop, negotiate, and implement strategies resulting in improved supply chain performance, enhanced product quality, and maximum value

·      Collaborate with other members of the supply chain – internal and external customers

·      Monitor, identify, and mitigate risks

·      Forecast cost changes for scope of responsibility

Job Requirements:

• Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel
• Advanced typist with accuracy
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be highly organized and driven in professional approach
• Superior math skills, understanding entire scope of costs, logic, and conversions
• Solid communication skills
• Strong work ethic and team player
• Ideally 4-10 years of prior experience in Purchasing and Inventory in the Industrial realm

Monday - Friday - 8am-5:00pm - + Overtime available
