Lead transmission and interconnection activities within ERCOT, managing projects through all phases of the interconnection process.

Evaluate transmission system capabilities, perform power system studies, and analyze congestion risks to support project development and interconnection strategies.
CIG Energy is seeking a Director, Interconnection Services to lead transmission and interconnection efforts for utility-scale generation and large load projects throughout the ERCOT market. This leadership role is responsible for guiding projects through every phase of the interconnection process—from initial transmission assessments and site selection through engineering studies, construction support, commissioning, and commercial operation.
The successful candidate will serve as the company's subject matter expert for ERCOT interconnection strategy while working closely with development, engineering, finance, commercial, and executive leadership. This individual will also provide technical guidance for acquisitions, project due diligence, and transmission planning initiatives.
Primary ResponsibilitiesInterconnection Strategy & ExecutionExperience with one or more of the following power system modeling tools:
Strong knowledge of:
