Key Responsibilities

The Junior Consultant will be involved in both corporate andconsumerPR andmarketing communications projects, which will include:

• Participating in strategic planning and development of creative concepts and campaigns for our clients.

• Developingand executingimpactful media relationsand social mediastrategies that deliver impact and results.

• Writingcompelling communications materials for a wide range of internal and external audiences.

• Planning and executing experientialand educational events.

• Conducting research, measurement,monitoringand program reporting.

• Managing programs and workflow in a team environment.

• Providingadministrative support,ensuringtimelyandaccuratetracking ofcampaignexpenses. This includes processing expense reports,maintainingbudgets, and liaising with finance team.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of proven experience in PR in Canada.

• At least two years within a PR agency environment isrequired-please do not apply if you do not have this qualification.

• Proven relationships with local, regional, and national media.

• Exceptional writing,listeningand communication skills.

• Demonstrates assertiveness and takes initiative to proactivelyidentifyand address tasks, challenges, and opportunities.

• Ableto work independently.

• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Demonstrated ability to manage and completemultipleprojectssimultaneously, sometimesunder tight deadlines.
• University or college degree in a related field, such as Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, or Journalism in Canada.

• $62,000 - $65,000 per year
