Role Description The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is a full-time, on-site role based in Loveland, CO. This role is responsible for receiving incoming shipments, verifying packing lists and purchase orders, inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies, and accurately logging items into QuickBooks inventory systems. The clerk prepares outgoing orders by picking, packing, labeling, and staging materials, and safely operates material handling equipment such as pallet jacks. Daily tasks include maintaining organized storage areas, performing cycle counts, updating inventory records, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve shipping and receiving issues. The position also involves preparing shipping documentation, communicating with carriers, and following all safety and company procedures.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills in Shipping & Receiving, including checking, tracking, and documenting inbound and outbound materials.
  • Proficiency in Packing and order preparation, with attention to accuracy, protective packaging, and proper labeling.
  • Ability to safely operate a Pallet Jack and other basic material handling equipment in a warehouse environment.
  • Experience with Inventory Control, including data entry, stock organization, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Strong Communication skills for coordinating with team members, drivers, and other departments.
  • Basic computer skills for using inventory, shipping, or ERP systems; familiarity with barcoding or scanning tools is beneficial.
  • Ability to lift and move materials as required, follow safety guidelines, and stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution environments preferred; high school diploma or equivalent recommended. Quick books knowledge will be helpful.
