Role Description:

The Social Media Coordinator / Marketing Support Team Member is a full-time, on-site role based in Ravenna, NE. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and posting engaging social media content across multiple platforms, including photos, short videos, and written captions that reflect the Buzz’s Marine brand. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring social channels, responding to comments and messages, updating promotions and events, and coordinating with the sales and service teams to highlight inventory, special offers, and customer stories. The team member will assist with basic digital marketing activities such as email campaigns, website updates, and online listings, as well as help with in-store marketing materials like signage and flyers. The role involves tracking performance metrics, reporting on engagement trends, and recommending ideas to improve online reach and customer interaction.

Job Duties include:

• Help develop successful social media campaigns
• Monitor all social media content
• Track analytics and performance for social media campaigns
• Implement social media on platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter (X), Pinterest, Snap, TikTok and Google+
• Set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns
• Pull KPI data to determine social media campaigns’ success
• Utilize and keep up with tools and technologies used in social media
• Track customer engagement and SEO to optimize campaign content
• Assist in launching and managing email campaigns
• Contribute to the content creation process Partner with TV, radio, and digital media representatives to optimize ad buying strategies, maximizing exposure, audience reach, and overall marketing ROI
• Assist with photo/video content shoots
• Assist with marketing endeavors including live events, customer satisfaction surveys, promos, etc. Engage with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software
• Assist with budget tracking, submitting P.O.‘s, and other necessary documentation 

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Content Creation and Social Media Marketing to plan, produce, and manage posts across platforms.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication and Writing skills to craft clear, engaging messages and respond professionally to customers online and in person.
• Candidates should possess Digital Marketing skills to support email campaigns, website updates, and basic analytics tracking.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, prioritize multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Comfort with photography/video using smartphones or basic equipment, and familiarity with social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok or similar channels.
• Basic proficiency with office and design tools (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; simple graphic tools such as Canva) is beneficial.
• Previous experience in marketing, retail, or customer service is preferred but not required; an interest in boating or outdoor recreation is a plus.
