Job description:
Burke Builders is looking for a Site Supervisor to join our team. Burke Builders is a well-established construction company in WNY focusing on both residential and commercial projects. This position requires strong communication skills, great attitude, proven problem solve, knowledge of residential and commercial construction and leadership qualities.
The Construction Supervisor duties and responsibilities are as follows:
· Manage a team of subcontractors, including work schedules, project progress and resource allocation
· Read and understand all construction specification documents
· Read and understand architectural blue prints/drawings
· Oversee multiple projects at one time
· Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers
· Maintain a daily log for the job site’s operations, reporting to management as necessary
· Make changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlines
· Check on job progress daily and document.
