Job description

A prestigious Am Law firm is seeking a Trademark Operations Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of its Trademark practice. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity responsible for overseeing trademark support teams, driving operational excellence, optimizing workflows, and partnering with attorneys and practice leadership to support strategic business objectives. This role will be hybrid and can sit in SF, Mountain View, Santa Monica, Seattle, NYC, or D.C.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of Trademark Paralegals and support professionals, including onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Oversee trademark prosecution operations, workflow management, workload allocation, productivity metrics, and service delivery.
  • Manage trademark transfer processes, administrative operations, and procedural documentation to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Partner with attorneys and leadership on staffing, capacity planning, process improvement initiatives, and operational strategy.
  • Drive continuous improvement, change management, and implementation of new tools, technologies, and best practices.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of trademark prosecution operations experience, including 2+ years in a leadership capacity.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. and international trademark prosecution, docketing systems, and trademark operations.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and team development skills.
