Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments by collecting comprehensive medical histories and performing physical examinations to formulate accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Work closely with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to deliver cohesive care tailored to each patient’s individual needs across all ages.
  • Utilize diagnostic tests effectively, interpreting results to adjust treatment options as necessary.
  • Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments while educating patients on preventive health measures and lifestyle changes to enhance overall health.
  • Monitor and manage chronic conditions, coordinating referrals to specialty care when required, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Document patient interactions thoroughly and promptly in the EPIC EMR system, adhering to hospital protocols and standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the organization, contributing to policy refining and practice enhancement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Family Practice Physician Assistant at Brighter Hospital, you will serve a diverse patient population that includes newborns, children, adults, and seniors. Qualifications
  • A graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Current PA Certification and a valid state license for Washington

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required; a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies is preferred
  • Proficiency in utilizing patient management systems such as EPIC EMR

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
