Position Overview

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Bright Sky Social Work Services, you will play a critical role in providing vital mental health support to students within a school setting. This full-time remote position in Corpus Christi, Texas, allows you to deliver counseling services and therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique needs of young individuals and their families, with a competitive salary ranging from USD 60,000 to 100,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker will include:

  • Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to identify the mental health needs, strengths, and resources of students.
  • Providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
  • Developing, implementing, and continually updating individualized treatment plans that outline actionable goals and tailored interventions for each client.
  • Collaborating actively with a diverse treatment team to ensure the seamless integration of services and supports for students.
  • Conducting crisis interventions and risk assessments when necessary, including developing safety plans for at-risk clients.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in line with ethical and legal standards to track treatment progress effectively.
  • Facilitating engaging group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups that foster community and healing.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related conditions, and behavioral issues. By providing targeted therapy and support, you will help these young individuals navigate their unique experiences and promote overall emotional and social development.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • An active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • A minimum of two years of experience working in mental health or outpatient settings, with specific experience working with youth being highly desirable.
Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will possess strong familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, comprehensive psychosocial assessment techniques, and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate rapport-building with clients and their families.
