Position Overview

Breaking Free Wellness & Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team. In this vital role, you will provide critical support and guidance to individuals navigating their mental health journeys from the comfort of your own home. This full-time position allows you to work a consistent schedule, Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, while making a positive impact in the lives of our clients.

Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, leveraging telehealth technology to ensure the highest quality of care for our clients. Our virtual platform allows for seamless communication and interaction, enabling you to conduct therapy sessions effectively. As part of a dedicated team, you will receive ongoing support and engage in regular training to remain at the forefront of best practices in mental health counseling.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual therapy sessions tailored to the individual needs of clients, using evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Create a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings during sessions.
• Facilitate the development of customized treatment plans that reflect each client's unique circumstances and goals.
• Use clinical assessments and diagnostic tools to evaluate the mental health status of clients, adapting strategies as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with professional standards and regulations.
• Regularly follow up with clients to assess their progress and adjust therapeutic interventions as appropriate.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals and stakeholders to coordinate additional support for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse range of individuals facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and more. Your role will involve listening to their experiences, providing empathetic support, and guiding them through evidence-based therapeutic techniques to foster healing and growth.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Must be fully licensed to practice independently as one of the following:
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a mental health counseling role is preferred, with a proven track record of successful client outcomes.
• Experience using telehealth platforms and digital tools for conducting therapy sessions is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range between $90,000 and $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
