Job description

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our maintenance team. You will inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain our medium and heavy-duty commercial trucks. Your primary goal is to ensure vehicles operate safely, minimize downtime, and meet all regulatory compliance standards.
  • Reading work orders and consulting with customers: Understanding the work required and explaining the repair process
  • Planning work procedures: Using technical manuals and charts to map out work procedures
  • Inspecting vehicles: Following checklists to ensure all critical parts are examined, including the engine, transmission, steering mechanism, and brake systems
  • Running diagnostic tests: Reading and interpreting diagnostic test results to identify problems
  • Repairing or replacing parts: Replacing malfunctioning components, parts, and other mechanical or electrical equipment
  • Performing basic maintenance: Changing oil, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires
  • Test-driving vehicles: Ensuring that the vehicle runs smoothly after repairs
  • Communicating with supervisors, coworkers, and clients: Providing updates on repair progress or any potential issues
  • Staying updated: Keeping up with industry trends, technological advancements, and manufacturer recommendations
  • Collaborating with other mechanics: Working with other mechanics and technicians to ensure efficient workflow
  • Change and Rotate tires
  • Oil changes- and any other services that might need to be made

Must Follow basic instructions & Pay attention to detail. Must pass a background check & Drug test.
