At Bollards Plus (BollardBarrier.com), we make it here and we make it better. We're a hands-on American manufacturing shop in Spring, TX that builds custom bollard barriers and protective products entirely in-house — no outsourcing, no shortcuts. Our team takes pride in quality craftsmanship, fast execution, and showing up every day ready to work. We're a small team, which means the right person has real room to grow.

The Role

We're looking for a hungry, ambitious Welder Helper who wants more than just a job — someone who sees this as the starting point of a skilled trade career. You'll work alongside experienced welders, get your hands on real production work from day one, and build a foundation that can take you as far as your drive will carry you. What You'll Do

• Prep raw materials for welding: measuring, cutting, and staging parts
• Operate angle grinders and other hand tools to clean welds and deburr metal
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe throughout the day
• Assist welders with material handling and setup between jobs
• Load and unload materials, move finished product, and support production flow
• Follow safety protocols at all times

Requirements

• Ability to stand, lift (up to 80 lbs), and work physically for extended periods
• Reliability — consistent attendance is critical
• Basic mechanical aptitude or prior shop/manufacturing experience is a plus
• Experience with grinders, hand tools, or metal fabrication is helpful but not required — we'll teach the right person

Nice to Have

• Any welding coursework, vocational training, or shop class background
• Prior experience in a metal fab, manufacturing, or industrial environment
