Position Overview

Body Dynamics Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our rehabilitation center in Deltona, Florida. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care that focuses on restoring movement and enhancing quality of life. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in the recovery and rehabilitation of patients, guiding them towards their physical goals.

Work Environment

The ideal candidate will work onsite in our well-equipped rehabilitation center, where you will have access to the latest therapeutic modalities and equipment. Operating within a structured environment from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized physical therapy treatments based on each patient’s unique needs, objectives, and rehabilitation goals.
• Manage a caseload that allows for thorough interaction and effective communication with patients to track their progress.
• Employ specialized knowledge in orthopedic outpatient care to assess and treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
• Implement cost-effective therapeutic strategies aimed at improving patient movement and mobility while minimizing dependency on medications.
• Formulate comprehensive care plans that incorporate diverse treatment techniques and evidence-based interventions tailored to each patient's condition.
• Design and adjust fitness and wellness programs that support patients' recovery and overall health objectives.
• Motivate, educate, and empower patients throughout their treatment journey, fostering positive outcomes and independence.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all services rendered, utilizing EMR software to ensure optimal patient care continuity.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes to ensure patient goals are met and adjust care plans as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes a diverse range of individuals seeking recovery from sports-related injuries, surgical interventions, and chronic pain issues. You will have the opportunity to work closely with patients of varying ages and backgrounds, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet their specific rehabilitation needs.

Qualifications

• Hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Possess an active, unencumbered Physical Therapist license to practice in the state of Florida.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of manual therapy techniques and the ability to implement them effectively.
• Show a proven track record of developing and executing successful exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Exhibit proficiency in utilizing EMR systems, specifically Web PT, for precise patient documentation.
• Stay current with the latest physical therapy research and techniques to ensure evidence-based practices.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient setting is highly advantageous, especially within a sports medicine or rehabilitation-focused environment.
• Experience with diverse treatment modalities and a commitment to ongoing professional development through continued education.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our benefits package includes health insurance, paid time off, continuing education allowances, and opportunities to participate in professional development programs.
