PROCEPT BioRobotics is a fast-growing Surgical Robotics company. To meet the growing demand for our innovative products, we are offering numerous opportunities for full-time Manufacturing Assemblers to join our dynamic team. Manufacturing Assemblers play a pivotal role in assembling medical devices, partially or completely, by working at the bench, in a clean room, or on the shop floor. The position involves performing the following duties:
This position is intended for individuals with demonstrated production experience assembling PROCEPT Pump Cartridge in a regulated manufacturing environment. Candidates must possess prior hands-on experience building the Pump Cartridge and be capable of performing assembly operations with minimal training and supervision.
What Your Day-To-Day Will Involve:
  • Leverage prior experience building the Pump Cartridge to perform assembly operations, troubleshooting, and quality inspections in accordance with established production standards and procedures.
  • Position parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following standard operating procedures or company approved standardized protocols
  • Perform many assembly types functions, using hand and power tools
  • Assemble components into a completed product by following GMP and approved procedures
  • Assemble parts under microscope using small instruments and microscopic devices
  • Perform a wide range of complex tasks involving repair and testing
  • Understand assembly processes and SOP's
  • Follow defined procedures to achieve expected Quality output
  • Recognize and communicates to Production Lead complex build difficulties and/or product faults in a clear, concise, and timely manner
  • Recognize and diagnoses and communicates routine problems
  • Work with R&D & Operations team to relate process improvements for changes in Work Process Instructions for Company's products
  • Interpret assembly drawings
  • Maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance
  • Understand and adhere to the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality & EHS Policies

The Qualifications We Need You to Possess
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or four plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working in CER environment is desired
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Working knowledge of GMP and GDP
  • 1-2 years of applicable experience e.g. laser welding and/or adhesive bonding
  • Demonstrated proficiency with SA0225 assembly processes, associated work instructions, tooling, fixtures, and quality requirements.

Pay Range for this role:
$23.65 to $27.83
