Job description
- Continuously analyzes price fluctuations of petroleum, natural gasand other energy commodities,
- Evaluates the impact of geopolitical developments, supply-demand balanceand market dynamics on trading activities,
- Develops strategies and minimizes the company’s exposure to risks from oil and gas price volatility by utilizing derivative products,
- Examines market trends, reportsand forecasts to optimize commercial strategies,
- Ensures that derivative market transactions are aligned with the company’s profit protection objectives,
- Monitors and reports on the cost, benefitsand overall financial performance of hedging activities,
- Accurately reflects hedging activities in financial reports and ensures compliance with international standards,
- Optimizes financing through the trading of derivative products,
- Maintains communication with partner banks and provides updates on the company’s risk management practices,
- Coordinates risk management processes by collaborating closely with energy trading, finance, treasuryand operations teams
- Education:
- Have at least bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrated participation in training programs that contribute to professional and personal development
- Skills:
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of the trading of petroleum, natural gasand other energy commodities,
- Extensive expertise in futures, options, swapsand other derivative financial instruments,
- Proven ability to develop and effectively implement hedging strategies,
- Strong analytical skills for working with large datasets, monitoring market movementsand making data-driven decisions,
- Advanced mathematical and statistical competencies applicable to financial risk calculations and modeling,
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills,
- Proactive mindset,
- Ability to manage resources efficiently and effectively,
- Strong leadership skills with the capacity to coach and mentor teams,
- Capable of representing the organization professionally and accurately.
