Job Summary:
Bentonville Schools is seeking a Building Tech Support professional to assist with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of district hardware and software systems. The role involves providing daily operations support to staff and students, verifying functionality, and tracking inventory using helpdesk software.
Responsibilities:
โข Assist district staff and students with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of hardware and software
โข Offer daily operations and systems support to staff and students
โข Verify functionality of hardware and software components
โข Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in person, remotely and via phone
โข Assist staff and students with hardware/software problems and answer their questions
โข Track inventory and work progress in district helpdesk/asset management software
โข Performs other related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
โข High School diploma.
โข Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide own transportation.
โข Verified successful experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting PC, laptop, and mobile hardware/software.
Preferred:
โข Industry certifications preferred (CompTIA, Microsoft, HP, Dell, Cisco)
