The Service Coordinator/Service Administrator is responsible for coordinating the daily operations of the service department. This includes receiving service requests, scheduling and dispatching technicians, prioritizing emergency calls, and communicating appointment details and schedule changes with customers.

This position manages service work orders from the initial request through completion, monitors technician progress, coordinates required materials and customer access, and follows up on incomplete work, deficiencies, and return visits. Additional responsibilities include scheduling inspections, organizing service and inspection reports, maintaining accurate customer records, reviewing technician paperwork, preparing completed work orders for invoicing, and assisting with proposals, purchase orders, and permits.

The Service Coordinator/Service Administrator serves as an important connection between customers, technicians, management, and the billing department. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while providing professional customer service and strong support to field technicians.
