Beninato & Matrafajlo is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Paralegal or Aspiring Paralegal to join our Elizabeth, NJ office. Responsibilities
• Manage case files from intake through resolution/trial;
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery demands, and motions;
• Maintain frequent communication with clients, insurance adjusters, and medical providers;
• Assist with e-filing through the NJ Judiciary and federal systems;
• Coordinate schedules, depositions, and court appearances; and
• Other related tasks as necessary.
Qualifications
• Education: Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience: Previous law firm experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right "aspiring" candidate.
• Languages: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Case Management Software.
• Filevine experience is a plus.
• Exceptional organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and a professional demeanor.
