About Us

Beignets & Brew serves authentic French beignets and premium coffee in a welcoming environment. We're looking for an energetic, hands-on General Manager to lead daily operations, inspire our team, and help grow our business.

Position Summary

The General Manager is responsible for the overall success of the café, including operations, team leadership, customer service, financial performance, inventory, marketing, and community engagement. This role leads by example to deliver exceptional guest experiences and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily café operations, ensuring quality, cleanliness, and efficiency.
• Hire, train, coach, schedule, and develop team members.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve guest concerns.
• Manage labor, inventory, budgets, cash handling, and operating costs.
• Monitor sales, KPIs, and implement strategies to improve profitability.
• Order supplies, manage vendors, and maintain inventory controls.
• Support local marketing, catering, promotions, and community partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and labor regulations.
• Maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
• Support social media, seasonal promotions, loyalty programs, and special events.

Qualifications

Required

• 3–5 years of restaurant, café, bakery, coffee shop, or QSR management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with hiring, scheduling, budgeting, inventory, and cost control.
• Customer-focused with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

• Experience with café or bakery concepts.
• Food Protection Manager Certification (or ability to obtain).
• Familiarity with POS, scheduling, and inventory management systems.
