Job description

We are looking for applicants in our growing business in both screen print and embroidery. No experience is required we will train you to be a press operator in screen print and a great embroiderer in our embroidery department. We offer a fun, creative, fast paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate industrial embroidery machines to execute designs accurately and efficiently according to project specifications.
  • Properly hoop, frame, and stabilize garments (e.g., hats, jackets, uniforms) to ensure correct design placement and alignment.
  • Monitor the embroidery process, adjusting thread colors, tension, and machine settings as needed to ensure consistent, high-quality output.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning, including oiling and troubleshooting minor mechanical issues to prevent downtime.
  • Read and interpret work orders and design files to ensure all project requirements, such as logo selection and placement, are met.
  • Inspect finished products for quality control, correcting any defects and ensuring they meet company standards before shipping.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activity, inventory of supplies (thread, bobbins, backing), and materials used.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Embroidery Machine Operator or in a similar role within the textile industry (experience with multi-head machines is highly desirable) would be a plus
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to read and understand instructional manuals and technical specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to differentiate colors accurately for inspection and quality control.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with production teams and management regarding project needs or maintenance issues.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle garments, hoops, and machine equipment consistently. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
