Be Yourself Therapy is seeking a dedicated and licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our growing team in Lawrence, Kansas. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client through detailed assessments and evaluations.
• Administer therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups based on empirical research and best practices.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities—such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy—to effectively address clients' unique challenges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers, psychiatrists, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive care and effective treatment outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with ethical practices and legal requirements.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in the field of mental health through professional development opportunities, trainings, and continued education.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will engage with a wide range of clients, including individuals struggling with stress management, workplace conflicts, relationship issues, trauma, and mental health disorders. Your expertise in clinical interventions will make a significant difference in the lives of clients seeking to enhance their emotional well-being and personal development.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Kansas.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally in a clinical or mental health setting.
• Thorough understanding of legal and ethical standards in counseling practice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with a diverse client population.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in family therapy, couples counseling, substance abuse counseling, or trauma-informed care.
• A proven track record of collaboration within a healthcare team, demonstrating the ability to manage case discussions and integrate insights from various disciplines.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and relevant applications that support patient care.

• Competitive salary range of USD 60,000 – 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
