Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in pool maintenance and cleaning. As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that pools are clean, safe, and well-maintained, providing exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Test and balance pool water chemistry (chlorine, pH, alkalinity, etc.)
• Clean and vacuum pools; remove debris and brush pool walls
• Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment (pumps, filters, heaters)
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients
• Keep accurate records of services performed
• Safely transport and handle pool chemicals and equipment
• Maintain company vehicle and equipment in clean working order

Qualifications

• Must have a valid NC drivers license
• Be able to pass a motor vehicle and background check
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying conditions
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Preferred: experience as a Service Technician or similar role in pool maintenance
• Preferred: Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment
