DESCRIPTION
Job Overview: The cashier provides assistance to customers while performing key tasks that keep the store running smoothly. A successful cashier is friendly to his/her fellow employees and customers, stays busy maintaining and improving the store, and provides assistance to customers and staff. The cashier is key to the company because he/she is face to face with customers and plays a key role in the customer's experience. The store clerk performs duties that are critical to daily operations of the store and overall efficiency.

• Responsible for assisting customers during their time in our store in a way that makes them feel comfortable and makes them want to return.
• Responsible for charging customers for their purchases and giving back the correct amount of change.
• Responsible for preventing theft inside the store and at the gas pumps.
• Responsible for serving food to the customers.
• Responsible for keeping all areas of the store presentable and functioning at all times.
• Required to perform many janitorial duties that include and are not limited to cleaning the floors, cleaning the entire store, taking trash to the dumpster , and cleaning the parking lot and gas pump area.
• Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the gas pumps.
• Responsible for organizing and cleaning coolers and freezers.
• Responsible for providing customers with a safe and sanitary environment.
• Responsible for keeping the fountain drink syrup in the fountain drink machines.
• Responsible for stocking product on the shelves.
• Responsible for checking identification and properly selling alcohol and tobacco products.
• Responsible for being conscientious of profitability in all aspects of their job.

Driver's license Education and Experience

• High School Education
• Must be 21+
