Traveling Construction Superintendent
Location: Louisville, KY, 40222
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Traveling Construction Superintendent to oversee multiple construction projects across various locations, including Louisville, KY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities- Travel to various job sites to supervise construction activities and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to quality control and safety protocols.
- Resolve any issues or delays that arise during construction.
- Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, schedules, and change orders.
- Collaborate with project teams to optimize construction processes and improve efficiency.
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent, preferably with traveling assignments.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and travel frequently.
- Proficient in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
